EduACT – Action for Education is a non-profit Charitable Society of Friends of Education, based on the voluntary action of young entrepreneurs, scientists, IT specialists and educators, aiming to enhance innovation and creative spirit.
EduACT is the official organization representative in Greece and Cyprus for the global educational robotics, research and innovation FIRST® LEGO® League competition, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religions and is aimed at children aged 9-16 years. Moreover, this year is the pilot year for the Jr. FIRST® LEGO® League robot competition, for ages 5-9 years old.
These competitions are designed to encourage children into science and technology, while teaching them valuable life skills, based on ideals and values, such as team work, cooperativeness, fair play and dignified professionalism.
